From the Judge :
Many thanks to the Committee for the invite to judge their show, I really enjoyed my day. I had some lovely dogs to go over and many will change places on a different day. Size is an issue, but saying that, I had some good little ones and some good bigger ones. I was looking for a balanced dog, smiling sammy expression and sound movement. On the minus side, I think we are in danger of losing the lovely almond eye with correct slant so essential to the expression, some also lacked muscle tone. Bites okay in the majority.
Minor Puppy Dog 3 (1 abs)
1st Smith & Freer's Nikara Diamond Dancer
Lovely 6 month puppy, medium sized and so well balanced. Good bone and angulation. Super dense puppy coat with lovely plumed tail. Beautiful head and smiling expression, thick ears, excellent eye shape, just made me smile. Moved well for one so young. BP
2nd Huntley's Karenshko Amber Fire
Another nice 6 month puppy, slightly taller and finer but a lot to like. Correct coat and tail set. Just preferred the head and expression of 1.
Puppy Dog 2 (1 abs)
1st Karenshko Amber Fire
Junior Dog 5 (1 abs)
1st South's Aleski the One and Only
Medium balanced dog with lovely head and expression. Dense beautifully presented stand off coat. Strong legs and nicely angulated. Won his classes on his sound driving movement. RBD
2nd Fremlin's Icewind Echo of Spring
Another nice boy, slightly taller and more my size. Loved his head and neck carriage. Excellent outline, well off for bone, good flat feet. Slightly out of coat today, but this showed off his balanced shape.

Special Yearling Dog 5 (1abs)
1st Kayes' Danic Dash of Zolo Orleansnow (Imp)
Large powerful looking boy, strong bone and good feet. Firm topline and excellent tailset. Good masculine head, just a little unsure of himself so held ears a little close. When his confidence grows he should do well. Moved very well.
2nd Sinclair's Farumach's Cool Sno Storm
12 months boy of smaller type. Nice all round balance, good bone and angulation but slightly out of coat. Handled and moved well. One that should mature on nicely.

My surprise of the day, having seen him around but never really took my eye until I got up close and personal. Lovely boy all round, excellent size, balance and bone. Super head, eye and expression giving a handsome male head. Excellent pigment. Correct stand off coat with good texture. Strong driving action and sound movement. Ticked all the boxes for me just had his mind on other things in the final challenge. BD, BOS.
